Build quality and design
The JUUL is considerably smaller than the UWELL CALIBURN 11W POD SYSTEM Caliburn, while the Infinix is just a little longer. Although slimmer and thinner, it is also taller than the SMOK Nord. 110 mm tall, 21.2 mm broad, and 11.6 mm thick describe its dimensions. In terms of size, the gadget seems to be between a pod vape and a vape pen. Although it seems sturdy, I wish it had a little more grip. In the past week alone, it has escaped my grasp several times.
The gadget is made of an aluminum alloy and is both strong and lightweight. It weighs around 25 grams without a pod and 34 grams with a full pod. The appliance feels well-built and has even withstood a few drops.
The UWELL CALIBURN 11W POD SYSTEM features a straightforward, functional design that isn’t overly showy. To be honest, I don’t really like the line engravings on the sides. I preferred a design that was more contemporary and streamlined. Although the e-liquid indicator windows are nice for a fast check, I usually simply pop the entire pod out to have a closer look inside. In conclusion, while I don’t particularly like the looks as a whole, if the performance is good, I’ll probably overlook it. Although I ultimately went with the grey Caliburn, if I were to choose again, I think I would pick the black one.
Uwell Caliburn Pods
The material used to make the pods appears to be fairly durable. Two apertures on the sides feed the airflow. It emanates from the recessed bottom of the pod. The connection between the pods is magnetic and gold-plated. The pods still leave a small gap when you place them in, even though the magnets appear to be rather powerful. The final portion of the pod normally has to be physically pushed in.
Although UWELL CALIBURN 11W POD SYSTEM uses parallel coils for the pods, the coil arrangement as a whole is reminiscent of the old-school cargo tanks. I enjoy how Caliburn incorporates characteristics of both contemporary and more recent vape styles.
The kit really came with two pods—one for the device and a spare—instead of the one they claim it comes with. Sadly, neither of them functioned in any way. I wasted 4 mL of e-juice since they just never fired! Fortunately, I bought a set of four pods with the gadget, and every single one of them functioned well.
